By day, Mr. Brian teaches high school business classes. In every Cash For Cubs video, he plays the same role for a younger audience: the adult in the room who actually explains money instead of assuming kids will figure it out on their own.
He's on camera in all 15 Levels, standing alongside Teddy, Goldie, Franklin, Chase, and Penny as they work through everything from counting coins to opening a 401(k). His opening line is the same in every episode, and by now it's the closest thing the show has to a theme song:
“Hey there financial explorers! I'm Mr. Brian, your Cash for Cubs guide.”
Two classrooms, one goal
A high school business classroom and a five-year-old's first piggy bank are further apart than they look. Mr. Brian teaches both ends of that range — and built Cash For Cubs around a simple bet: kids can handle real financial concepts a lot earlier than most curricula give them credit for, as long as someone explains them well.
Why the bears
Every Level pairs Mr. Brian with a bear character who's working through the same money questions a real kid would have — a first paycheck, a first credit card, a first investment. He's there as the guide, not the lecturer, which is the same instinct that shapes how he teaches in an actual classroom.
