Five characters, five courses, one growing cast of financial explorers — each headlining their own level as they get a little older and take on bigger money decisions.
Teddy
Teddy's a good-natured cub who completes chores around his bear den and wants to get his financial habits in order as young as he can. He's just discovering what money is — which makes him the perfect guide for a first-timer.
Also appearing: Theodore (Teddy's dad) and Ripper the Raccoon, the series' recurring cash bandit.
Goldie
Goldie just landed her first real job at the Honey Factory, and has become a paycheck guru. She's become an expert on budgeting, impulse spending, and how emotions sneak into money decisions.
Also appearing: Grandma Goldine, Grandpa Golden, and the Impulsive Insects — Harry, Barry, Gary, and Larry.
Franklin
Franklin carries a book called Beary Smart Investing everywhere he goes, and he's not kidding around. He's building real investing knowledge, all while his diversified portfolio compounds year after year.
Also appearing: Franco (Franklin's dad), Francine (his sister), and the Grizzardly Wizard, keeper of the Berry Field.
Chase
Chase is all business — bank accounts, debit cards, and a PandaPay credit card. He's a loan expert and has all the tools at his disposal to build an incredible credit score.
Also appearing: The Money Pit, the P-I-T escape challenge from Chase's finale.
Penny
Penny has it all — a husband, two daughters, and a pickle business on the side. She'll provide all the guiding principles to achieving financial freedom as early as possible.
Also appearing: Benny (her husband), Minty and Milly (her daughters), Nicky (her nephew), Frosty Wheeler (the car salesman from Frozen Ice Motors), and Edgar the Emperor in the series finale.

Every video lesson includes three Bear Claw Challenges: moments for the learner to critically think through a financial scenario based on what was just taught. Land all three challenges in a level and you're awarded ALL THREE BEAR CLAWS — a real completion moment, not just a progress bar.
The series finale — Polar Bears (Level III) — reimagines this as the Bear Claw Quest: where learners must earn the three legendary bear claws — Ember, Natural, and Failsafe — to reignite the Eternal Flame and save the Band of Bears aboard the Cold Hard Cash ship.
